The HABITS

“We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, then is not an act, but a habit” — Aristotle.

Habits are formed by the repetition of particular acts. They say that it takes 21 days to include new habit in to your routine. So in course of inculcating a new habit you will build your willpower and discipline.

Your brain neuro-plasticity will get improved as your brain starts to create a new neural connections.

Many of the successful people like Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey has book reading as their habit.

Warren Buffet spends 5–6 hours a day in reading books and also reads newspapers daily.

Bill Gates — Ex CEO of Microsoft reads 50 books a year. Mark Zuckerberg reads a book every week.

To get a habit of waking early you set your alarm for 5am to wake up early. But actually you press snooze button and sleep. There will be fight between your mind and the body. If you prioritize your mind over the body you will get up and may start tasks like Journaling, day planning, Exercise, Meditation. So starting a day with “Winning mindset” as already your mind won over body will make you energetic and effective in any work you do after a good morning start.

I have picked journaling and reading habit to be implanted in my daily routine. What’s yours????
